Miriam Louise Glenn, 90, of Corsica, died July 28, 2012 at Laurelbrooke Landing, Brookville.

Born April 3, 1922 in Renovo, PA, she was the daughter of Floyd B. and Ada J. (Wenzel) Werts. She married W. Paul Glenn on November 4, 1943 in Lock Haven. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2002.

Surviving are four sons: David and wife, Cathy, of Corsica; Mark and wife, Suzanne, of Hollidaysburg; Roger and wife, Ginger, of Clarion; Todd and wife, Kim, of Clarion; five grandchildren, Andrew and wife, Melissa, of Binghamton, NY; Jason and wife, Misty, of Nixa, MO; Heather and husband, Nicholas Kratsas, of Pittsburgh; Meghan of St. Marys and Brianna of Clarion; three great-grandchildren: Ethan, Serena and Ainsley and special friend, Tina Perry.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Denise and Diane, and a brother, Glenn.

Miriam was a 1939 graduate of Renovo High School and a 1943 graduate of the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a homemaker. Miriam was a member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church, Corsica, where she was a former elder and trustee and member of the Circle of Hope. She belonged to the Alumni Association of the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse. She was an avid reader and bird watcher and enjoyed writing letters, traveling and gardening. Miriam and Paul enjoyed traveling in retirement especially in the American southwest. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, July 30 at the McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31 at Pisgah Presbyterian Church, Corsica, with the Rev. James Dietrich officiating.
