OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Michaela Bell went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and four RBIs to lead visiting Franklin to a 17-0, five-inning victory over Oil City.

Meghan Haynes added three RBIs while going 3-for-3 with a triple, two walks and two runs scored for the Knights with Kiele Hawk adding a double among her two hits. She scored twice and drive in two, while Skylnn Jolley added a 2-for-4 day with a run scored and an RBI.

Kylee Gonzalez and Reba Wood had hits for Oil City.

Gracie Stryffler got the win allowing two hits while striking out five in five innings in the circle.

FOREST AREA 10, KEYSTONE 0, 5 INNINGS

TIONESTA, Pa. — Sarah Lander and Destiny Ginnery each drove in a pair of runs to help Forest Area to a 10-0, five-inning victory over visiting Keystone.

Lander was 1-for-2 with a double and also scored two runs for the Fires.

Jasmine Ginnery got the complete-game, shutout win going five innings allowing four hits and two walks and striking out two.

Also for Forest Area, Makiya Bellotti was 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and two runs scored, Allison Lencer was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Cassie Cochran was 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Cora Black led Keystone going 2-for-3.

Prior to the game, the teams finished off their game from April 25 that was suspended due to darkness with Keystone completing the doubleheader sweep with a 21-10 victory. The Lady Panthers led the contest 17-10 when it was suspended in the top of the seventh with Keystone at the plate.

MONITEAU 7, SHARPSVILLE 0

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. — Kennedy DeMatteis tossed her fifth straight shutout while running her total games without allowing an earned run to seven straight in a 7-0 Moniteau win over visiting Sharpsville.

DeMatteis, who lowered her ERA to 0.44 on the year (she has given up four earned runs in 64 innings of work), gave up one hit and two walks while striking out 12. It was her 10th shutout of the season.

Kennedy DeMatteis helped herself on offense going 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. Sara Hull also doubled for the Lady Warriors and was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, while Gabby Stewart tripled and went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Kirstina DeMatteis and Dolcey Shunk each scored twice as well.

REDBANK VALLEY 13, A-C VALLEY 3, 5 INNINGS

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa.- Kara Hicks went 3-for-4 with five runs batted in and ripped a two-run homer in Redbank Valley’s 13-3 win over A-C Valley.

Hicks’ homer sparked a three-run first inning that put the Lady Bulldogs up for good. They scored in all but one at-bat, including a five-run second, three more in the fourth and two in the fifth to enact the 10-Run Rule.

Lexi Holt and Alyssa Burkett each had two hits. Holt drove in two runs and scored three runs. Kristen Shaffer didn’t have a hit, but reached base four times and scored each time.

On the mound, Burkett scattered five hits, striking out two and walking two.

Kylee Eaton and Cami McNany each had two hits for A-C Valley.
