FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, Franklin-based Joy Global Manufacturing laid off approximately 105 employees within a week.

Sources say Franklin-based Joy Global Manufacturing laid off approximately 45 employees last week and about 60 employees on Tuesday.

One laid-off employee of Joy Global Manufacturing — who wishes to remain anonymous — told www.explorevenango.com, “It’s going to be real tough. I have bills to pay and a family to feed.”

Calls to Joy Global Manufacturing were not immediately returned.
