More Snow in Forecast for Venango County

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — The calendar may soon say it’s spring, but the local weather will remain wintry for the next few days.

According to the National Weather Service, beginning Monday night, there is a 20 percent chance of snow, mainly after 11:00 p.m. in the area. The low temperature will be around 22 with the wind coming out of the northwest about 8 miles per hour. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.

On Tuesday, there is a 50 percent chance of snow with new snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

The temperature will be near 33 degrees with winds out of the west at 6 to 11 mph.

There is a 50 percent chance of snow on Tuesday night with a low temperature of 20 degrees and winds out of the west at 9 mph.

On Wednesday, the chance of snow remains at 50 percent with a high near 30. West winds will be 11 to 16 mph.

A 30 percent chance of snow is predicted for Wednesday night — mainly before 11:00 p.m. and a low temperature around 22.

Temperatures are expected to be moderate toward the end of the week with a high of 49 on Saturday under partly sunny skies.
