Morning Commute Could Be Troublesome

snow roadsVENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Another blast of winter weather is set to hit the region early Tuesday morning, and it could make travel difficult for area drivers.

According to weather.com, snow is set to begin around 4:00 a.m. or 5:00 a.m., with it getting heavier throughout the mid-morning hours.

There is a chance of a small amount of freezing rain as the snow turns to rain and icing is possible.

In the Oil City/Franklin area, light snow is expected by 4:00 a.m. with it getting heavier by mid-morning before becoming a wintry mix around noon.

In Emlenton, snow is expected in the morning with rain by 2 p.m.

In the Clarion area, a mix of rain and snow is expected around 1:00 p.m. with all rain by mid-afternoon.

In the New Bethlehem area, snow showers are expected in the early hours before daylight with heavier snow with rain by mid-afternoon.

In the Brookville area, snow will begin around 5:00 a.m. with a mix of rain and snow mid-afternoon and all rain by 6:00 p.m.

And if those weather events weren’t enough, some areas will see foggy conditions early Wednesday.
