BARKEYVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a motorcycle versus vehicle accident occurred on State Route 8 (Pittsburgh Road), at its intersection with Barkeyville Road, in Barkeyville Borough, Venango County.

Police say 23-year-old Chadd M. Vanemon, of Canton, Pa., and 52-year-old Terry L. Barr, of Harrisville, Pa., were involved in the collision.

According to police, this crash occurred as Vanemon, traveling on a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 600, failed to see Barr who was stopped in the lane of travel in a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee waiting to turn left.

Vanemon suffered minor injuries.

He was using a motorcycle helmet.

Police say he refused medical attention.

Barr was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Vanemon was charged with a traffic violation.
