N. Dale Haugh

N. Dale Haugh, 90, Route 322, Brookville, died Friday, April 11, 2014, at McKinley Health Center, Brookville.

Born Aug. 19, 1923, in Brookville, he was the son of the late Edward Haugh and AnnaBelle Shea Haugh.

He was married to Joan Parsons on June 21, 1946, in Reidsburg. She died June 19, 2012.

He was in the U.S. Army, 148th Combat Engrs World War II European Theater.

He worked for the maintenance department for Clarion University.

Haugh was a member of the Roseville Church of Christ, VFW Post 204 Brookville and American Legion Post 102 Brookville, and a charter member World War II, Brookville Senior Citizens.

He is survived by two sons, Leonard D. (Kathy) Haugh of Brookville and Lawrence B. (Ruth) Haugh of Brookville; a sister, Bernice Alexander of Brookville; as well as six grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren.

Aside from his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a son, Lewis Haugh; a daughter, Linda Haugh; five sisters and a brother.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, at the McKinney Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Roseville Church of Christ with Minister John Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Roseville Bethel Cemetery in Union Township. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
