Nancy L. King, 83, of 109 Seeley Ave, Oil City, passed away at 7:20 am, with her family at her side, Monday, September 25, 2017.

Born January 6, 1934, in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Charles L. and Mary L. Coveney Kistler.

Mrs. King was a homemaker who enjoyed being with her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church.

On March 6, 1950, she married Joseph T. King, who preceded her on October 19, 2009.

Surviving are a son, John King, (Luwana); 2 daughters, Karen King and Christine Marshall (Kevin); a daughter-in-law, Marsha King; 8 grandchildren, Stephanie Webster (Codie), Madalyn King, Walker King, James Marshall (Elizabeth), Emily Marshall and fiancé Rob, Benjamin King (Ashley), Dustin Heeter and Rachel Heeter; and 8 great-grandchildren, Tucker, Penelope, Hazel, Sebastian, Emma, Addison, Dawson and Jada.

Also surviving are a sister, Mary Kathleen Davis (Herb); three sisters-in-law, Phyllis King, Margaret King and Chong Kistler; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Daniel King and Joseph King and wife Laura; a grandson, Joshua M. King; a sister, Constance Poorman; and a brother, Dick Kistler.

The family wants to give a special thank you to her caregivers, Olive, Carol, April and Barb, and the Aseracare Hospice team.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Thursday from 3 to 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Friday in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. John Miller, presiding.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Aseracare Hospice, the American Heart Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
