Harry Downs served our country in the United States Army during World War II.

Name: Harry Edward Downs Jr.

Born: October 20, 1923

Died: September 22, 2019

Hometown: Oil City, PA

Branch: United States Army

Harry proudly served in the United States Army.

During World War II, he served our country in New Guinea and the Southern Philippines, COB 153rd Engineer Combat Battalion.

He was a member of the VFW and the K of C.

Following a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, military honors were accorded by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard.

He was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
