OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – The Days Inn Oil City Conference Center is under new ownership and there are many changes occurring and planned in the future.

C.J. Pandit took over operations on February 2.

“We are updating the rooms, giving them a new coat of paint, painting the exterior walls,” Pandit said.

Two major areas that Pandit wants to improve are the WiFi connection and the restaurant. They are negotiating to bring in a large franchise restaurant.

“We are still in the negotiating stages with the bar and restaurant, so we’ll see what happens,” Pandit said.

The conference room is also undergoing work with new carpeting, upholstery, and tapestry.

“It takes time to get things done, but we want to get things up to Days Inn standards, and we are looking forward to the changes and believe our customers will be pleased with them,” Pandit said.
