FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – The new Director of Human Resources for the County is looking forward to his new duties.

Justin Wolfe was promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources (HR) for the County of Venango earlier this month.

Wolfe, a graduate of Titusville Area High School, started his employment with the County as a Department Clerk for HR in August of 2010.

He has served on the Wellness Committee since his employment began, developing health fairs and assisting with 5K’s for fundraising.

In November of 2011, Wolfe was promoted to the position of Recruitment and Record-keeping Coordinator which entails recruiting for all departments of the County.

Wolfe added that the job of recruitment included “talking with the many good people of the public who have applied over the years.”

As his career in HR continued to climb, he was promoted to Employee Relations Adviser in May of 2014, facilitating the retirement process, recruiting, and dealing with everyday employee relations issues.

Wolfe told exploreVenango.com that “although his new position is quite a change from the other roles he has have filled in HR for the County, he is looking forward to its challenges.”

Wolfe’s birthday is coming up next month – he was born on Halloween in 1983!
