OIL CITY, Pa. — Venango Catholic High School has launched several new events, which are part of an outreach and advancement strategy put forth by the school.

The next big event is Designer Bag Bingo being held at the Knights of Columbus in Oil City on Saturday, November 18 at 5:00 p.m.

Prizes include high-end handbags from Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, and Coach. In addition, there will be side auctions and other special games. Tickets can be purchased through the school’s website on the event page.

Also upcoming is a re-dedication of the school, which will be held on December 4 at 5:30 p.m. The Most Reverend Bishop Persico will be offering a prayer service and a blessing. The event celebrates the 55th anniversary of Venango Catholic. Alumni, friends, and supporters of the school are welcome to attend. After the blessing, a mixer will be held in the cafeteria.

In the works for March 2018, is the Annual Heritage Gala. The event was held for the first time last year and sold-out well in advance. Venango Catholic credits its staff, alumni, team of regular volunteers, and sponsors with its success at expanding its event calendar and reach.
