New Session of Tae Kwon Do Begins February 24 at Oil City YMCA

OIL CITY, Pa. — A new six week session of Tae Kwon Do begins February 24th at the Oil City YMCA.

Tae Kwon Do is held on Friday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Adults and youth, ages six and up, may participate together.

Tae Kwon Do is the Korean system of symmetrical body exercises designed for unarmed self-defense and counterattack. Tae Kwon Do is also a state of mind. It is the art of discipline to develop control, coordination and balance as well as courtesy and kindness.
Tae Kwon Do offers the excitement of competition and the blessing of good health through regular exercise. Tae Kwon Do is a way of life.

Tae Kwon Do is taught by certified instructors and has a very good following at the YMCA. Participants are welcome to join at any time throughout the year.

Registration is held prior to the start of the session at the YMCA Member Service Desk. The cost is $22.00 a session for Members and $32.00 for Non-Members.

Hours

The Oil City YMCA hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m, and Sundays 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
