Six Area Companies Battle Structure Fire at Utica Residence

UTICA, Pa. (EYT) – Firefighters from six area companies responded to a fire at a residence in Utica on Sunday night.

According to Venango County 911, the call for a structure fire at 2253 Old Route 322 came in at 6:20 p.m.

Volunteer fire departments from Utica, Cochranton, Cooperstown, Polk, Rocky Grove, and Chapmanville Fire Departments were called to the scene.

Community Ambulance Service was also dispatched.

The scene was cleared at 11:00 p.m.

Sources say the fire was electrical in nature.

A damage estimate was not available as of early Monday morning.

No injuries were reported.
