ROCKY GROVE, Pa. (EYT) – Sugarcreek Borough Police say a truck crashed into a Rocky Grove House early Friday morning in a DUI-related accident.

Around 12:39 a.m. on Friday, October 11, Officers of the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department were dispatched to 308 2nd Avenue, Rocky Grove, Venango County, for the report of a truck that had driven into a house.

Upon arrival, Patrolman Johnson observed that the truck struck the house and broke the wall leaving the truck partially in the basement.

Officers spoke with the homeowner who stated that the occupants of the house were not injured.

Patrolman Johnson spoke with the driver of the vehicle – identified as Ryan Graham – and noted multiple signs of impairment and the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person.

Patrolman Johnson conducted a field sobriety test. Graham was summarily placed under arrest for driving under the influence.

He was read the required consent form, and he refused when asked to consent for a chemical test of blood, according to police.

A search warrant was then prepared, and Graham then consented to the chemical test of blood.

Charges are pending awaiting the blood results.
