Nicholas C KolbrickNicholas C. Kolbrick, of 519 E. Pine St., Grove City, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at 12:35 p.m. at Grove City Medical Center after an extended heart illness.

He was 77.

Mr. Kolbrick was born in Sharon on Feb. 24, 1939, a son of Nickolas Kolbrick and Elizabeth Ruffo Kolbrick.

He married Elaine Wood Kolbrick on July 20, 2007. He was employed at Joy Manufacturing, Franklin. He was of the Catholic faith.

He was a Navy veteran. He served in the Navy Submarine Service; at the Arctic Circle for six months during the Cold War; on the USS John Marshall; 1959-1965 served in the Navy; fire control technician 3rd class.

He is survived by his wife, at the residence; a daughter, Pamela Kay wife of Gary Wolford, Stafford, Va.; a stepson, Michael W. Smith, Mercer; a stepdaughter, Melissa D. Smith, Grove City; and a grandson, Nicholas Wolford.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Delia Ellen Kolbrick, whom he married Oct. 22, 1960, and who died on Jan. 13, 1999.

Calling hours: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday ((2-23-17) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer.

Service: 11 a.m. Friday (2-24-17) in the funeral home.

Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Jefferson Township.

Officiating: Rev. Brian Keller of Mercer United Methodist Church.
