No Injuries Following Two Vehicle Crash in Oil City

Oil-City-PA-Police-PatchOIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City Police report no injuries following a two-vehicle traffic accident.

Police say the 4:36 p.m. September 28 accident took place at the intersection of Innis Street and West Fifth Street.

The driver of a silver Jeep was traveling east along West Fifth Street and failed to stop or yield to oncoming traffic traveling south along Innis Street, according to police.

The silver Jeep continued through the stop sign, striking the passenger-side rear area of an orange Ford SUV, police say.

Both vehicles suffered severe damage and were towed by Venango Towing and Recovery.

Both drivers and a passenger refused medical treatment, police say.

Oil City Police, Oil City Fire Department, Rescue 7, and Venango Towing and Recovery assisted police on the scene.
