NOMaD to Take the Stage at Deer Creek Winery’s Second Annual Luau Party, Pig Roast

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — NOMaD will be providing the entertainment at Deer Creek Winery’s Second Annual Luau Party/Pig Roast on Saturday, July 15.

The event is from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

NOMaD, North of Mason Dixon, is a Pittsburgh-based band, with a local connection in Luke Zacherl (pictured below), a former Marble native and 1999 Keystone High School graduate.

NOMaD has been together since 2004.

NOMaD’s current lineup includes vocalist David August, of Monroeville; lead guitarist and backing vocalist Jason Pfeifer, of Latrobe; rhythm guitarist ‘Suitcase’ Johnny Waclo, of Dormont; bassist and backing vocalist George Elliott, of Pittsburgh; drummer and backing vocalist Bobby Kunkel, of Greenfield; and Luke Zacherl.

The band is working on a new album — “A Day Late…” and hopes to release it soon.

The party includes leis, live entertainment by NOMaD and plenty of food, such as roasted suckling pig BBQ sliders, chicken and steak skewers, fire roasted corn/peppers, baked glazed yams, and dessert.

The cost is $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children under 12.

Leis will be provided.

Dinner reservations are required.
