Obenrader is part of a stellar freshman class for Gannon that has won the division’s freshman of the week award nine out of 12 times as a team this season. Individually, she also won the weekly award on November 19, December 3 and January 14.

The Fryburg, Pa. native was efficient in back-to-back divisional games last week for Gannon, shooting 56.2% (9-of-16) from the floor in home games against Seton Hill (2/6/19) and IUP (2/9/19). Obenrader averaged 10.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench for Gannon.

Obenrader opened the week with 13 points and seven rebounds against SHU and followed it up with eight points and six boards against fourth-ranked IUP.

She leads the team and ranks 23rd in the league with 6.3 rebounds/game and is one of five Lady Knights to average at least 7.0 points/game.

Gannon travels to face #17/18 California (Pa.) on Wednesday, February 13 at 5:30 p.m.
