Northwest Commission Hosts Clothing Drive in Memory of Former Co-Worker

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — The Northwest PA Regional Planning and Development Commission is hosting a clothing drive in memory of Barb Yard, a co-worker who lost her battle with breast cancer last year. 

The clothing drive is planned in partnership with Hope Twenty-One Ministries, of Oil City.  Hope Twenty-One provides the surrounding community with free clothing through their Seneca Street store front located in the Transit Building.

The commission will be collecting gently used men’s, women’s and children’s apparel. Donations may also include hats, shoes, handbags, jewelry, belts, and etc.

Items will be collected from June 1 to June 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Northwest Commission headquarters located at 395 Seneca Street in Oil City.
