MERCER COUNTY, Pa. — Sources say around 6:00 p.m. last night, an 18-year-old Ohio teen was arrested for the slaying of a 16-year-old girl whose body was found at a landfill in Mercer County.

According to a published article in The Vindicator, 18-year-old Ricki D. Williams, IV, of Youngstown, Ohio, was taken into custody by a U.S. Marshals fugitive task force.

Williams was charged with aggravated murder and kidnapping in the stabbing death of 16-year-old Gina Burger of Austintown, Ohio.

Burger’s body was found by workers at Tri-County Industries, Inc. site in Pine Township, Mercer County.

On the evening of June 30, Burger was reported missing from her home in the Compass West apartment complex in Austintown, Ohio.

Burger died of a single stab wound of the chest, according to Mercer County Coroner J. Bradley McGonigle, III.

Sources say that Williams and Burger knew each other, and it is believed that the teen girl was held against her will and stabbed in the apartment complex.

The knife has not been recovered, according to sources.

Williams will be arraigned in Mahoning County Area Court at 9:00 a.m. today.
