Oil City Arts Council Transit Concert Series Continues on Friday

OIL CITY, Pa. — The Oil City Arts Council’s Transit Concert Series continues on Friday, March 13, in the Great Room of the historic National Transit Building with a Jazz Poetry performance by Philip Terman and Mark DeWalt.

The event is from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Philip Terman is the author of eight collections of poetry, most recent collection Our Portion: New and Selected Poems.  A selection of his poems, My Dear Friend Kafkawas translated into Arabic and published in Damascus, Syria. His poems appear in numerous journals and anthologies, including Poetry Magazine, The Kenyon Review, The Georgia Review, The Sun Magazine. He is a professor of English at Clarion University and is the coordinator of The Bridge Literary and Arts Center in Franklin and editor of The Bridge Literary Journal Arts Journal. He has collaborated with other artists, including composers, painters, and sculptors, and performs his poetry with the jazz band, The Barkeyville Triangle.
