Oil City Council Announces 2019 Recycling Days

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – During their Thursday night meeting, the Oil City Council announced the city’s 2019 recycling days.

The electronics recycling day will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on May 17 at the city garage on Regan Drive in Siverly.

The following items will be accepted for disposal:

– Desktop computers
– Televisions
– Laptops
– PC Monitors
– Printers
– Keyboards/mouses
– Misc. Computer connections
– Radios
– Microwaves
– VCR/DVD players

Air conditioners will NOT be accepted. At the time of the drop-off, proof of city residency will be required.

This program is for residential customers only. No commercial drop-offs are permitted.

The tire/yard clutter day will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on September 13 at the City Garage. There is a maximum of eight tires at a cost of $2.00 per tire.
