Oil City Couple to Be Sentenced on Drug Charges

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City couple will be sentenced on drug charges stemming from a February 24 incident.

According to court documents, sentencing has been scheduled for 33-year-old Stacy Ray Dunkle and 22-year-old Mary Lou Sneltzer.

Dunkle pleaded guilty to the following charges:

– Conspiracy – Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Possession Of Firearm Prohibited, Felony 2

As a result of his guilty plea, the following charges were dismissed:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Possession Of Firearm Prohibited, Felony 2 (one count)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

Dunkle remains lodged in the Venango County Jail on $25,000.00 monetary bail.

His sentencing is scheduled for September 29.

Sneltzer pleaded guilty a felony charge of Conspiracy – Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver.

The following charges were dismissed as a result of her guilty plea:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered -Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

Sneltzer is free on $25,000.00 unsecured bail.

Her sentencing is scheduled for October 3.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, around 1:26 p.m. on February 24, Chief Robert Wenner and Patrolmen Cory Ruditis and Robert Culp, of the Oil City Police Department, and Agent See, of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, arrived at Dunkle’s residence at 116 West Sixth Street.

Officers spoke with Sneltzer, and Agent See searched the residence and found drugs, guns, and ammunition, all of which violates probation/parole orders.

The following items were found:

– A large bag of marijuana;
– Multiple small bags containing a small amount or residue of suspected marijuana;
– Multiple glass pipes;
– Plastic straws with residue;
– A bag containing suspected methamphetamine; and
– A fully loaded black Hi-Point .45 ACP handgun.

A search warrant was also served on a black Mercury Mountaineer belonging to Dunkle, and the following items were discovered:

– A black and silver 9mm Hi-Point carbine rifle, and
– Miscellaneous ammunition for a .45 and 9mm caliber firearms.
