Oil City Firefighters Contract Approved

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City firefighters new contract was approved at Thursday night’s council meeting.

The Council approved a new three-year contract with the City’s firefighters that will include a 2.5 percent raise in each of the next three years of the contract.

Changes were made to the contributions the firefighters will make to their health insurance premiums with the firefighters contributing 8 percent in 2020, 9 percent in 2021, and 10 percent in 2022.
