Oil City First Night Festivities Set For Saturday

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — First Night Oil City will be held on Saturday, December 31, on the Northside and Southside.

The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

It is a non-alcoholic, family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration of art and culture.

Fireworks begin at 7:00 p.m. and midnight.

There will be more than 15 different indoor performances throughout Oil City.

There will be hat-making, a Cool Night Light People’s Procession, Drum Circle, craft-making, an Ice Throne, bonfires, food, and more.

Admission buttons are $10.00 per person. Children five years of age and under get in free.

Buttons are available on the evening of the event at Karma Cafe, The Transit Building, and Spilling the Beans.
