Oil City Leaf Collection Continues Monday; Cars Must be Off Listed Streets

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City’s annual leaf collection continues this week with leaves being picked up Monday, November 19, through, Wednesday, November 21.

The city is requiring that cars be removed from the streets that are designated each week. The city also wants to remind residents not to rake the leaves onto the street as they are clogging up the storm drains.

All cars must be off the posted streets by 7:30 a.m. the day of the collection. Cars which are not moved will be ticketed and possibly towed.

Leaf pickup schedule for the week of November 19 is as follows:

Monday, November 19

Wyllis Street (W. Front to W. First)
West First & West Front Streets
West Second Street (All Sections)

Tuesday, November 20

Reed Street
North Street
Orchard Street
Hickory Street
Abbott Street
Darr Street
Filson Street
Mineral Street
Moran Street

Wednesday, November 21

Central Avenue
West Third Street
Wyllis Street (W. First to W. Seventh)
Smedley Street
Cowell Avenue
Drake Drive
Petroleum Street
Beech Street

Thursday, November 22

No pickup (Thanksgiving Holiday)
