The Oil City Main Street Program will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, August 8, 5:30 pm at City Hall.

The purpose of the meeting is to update the community on the Oil City Main Street Program’s current and future activities. The agenda will include an overview of the program’s mission, vision, recent accomplishments, and revitalization strategy. A discussion regarding the current Main Street District (C-2 zoned areas) and possible extension of the district into C-1 zoned areas of town will also be held.

“This is a great opportunity for people to learn more about the Oil City Main Street Program,” stated Kathy Bailey, Main Street Manager. “We have set the time for 5:30 pm to allow business owners the opportunity to participate and provide their input.”

The meeting is open to the public. Interested business/property owners, community leaders, and residents are encouraged to attend. For questions or additional information, contact the Main Street office at 677-3152, ext. 101 or via email at kbailey@oilregion.org.
