Oil City Man Accused of Exposing Himself to Children

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City man was arrested yesterday for exposing himself to children at the Family Dollar store on East 2nd Alley, in Oil City, Venango County.

According to Oil City Police, around 8:09 p.m. on July 11, officers responded to the Family Dollar store for a report of a male allegedly exposing himself to children.

The juveniles gave a description of the suspect, police say.

Officers located the suspect — 58-year-old Lewis M. McNeely, of Oil City — in the area.

He was arraigned at 10:30 p.m. on July 11 in front of Magisterial District Judge
Patrick E. Lowrey and charged with the following offenses:

  • Open Lewdness, Misdemeanor 3
  • Corruption of Minors, Misdemeanor 1
  • Disorderly Conduct Obscene Language/Gestures, Summary
  • Unlawful Contact With Minor — Open Lewdness

Unable to post $25,000.00 bail, he was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

He faces a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. on July 15 in Venango County Central Court.
