Oil City Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Young Girl

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City man is facing charges following the alleged sexual assault of a young girl.

According to court documents, Franklin-based State Police filed criminal charges against 21-year-old Dusty Michael Perry, of Oil City.

According to a criminal complaint, CYS (Children and Youth Services) interviewed a female victim around 9:37 a.m. on July 25, 2016.

During the recorded interview, it was alleged that Dusty Perry inappropriately touched the female victim, the complaint indicates.

The complaint states that around 8:50 a.m. on August 2, PSP Franklin interviewed Dusty Perry. He denied the allegations.

Around 3:30 p.m. on August 30, PSP Franklin interviewed Dusty Perry “where he made statements against his own interest,” according to the complaint.

Based on the investigation, a criminal complaint was filed against Perry in District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office.

He was arraigned at 2:00 p.m. on October 21, on a second-degree felony charge of Aggravated Indecent Assault — Comp. Less Than 13 Years Old.

Unable to post $50,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on November 16 in Venango County Central Court.
