Oil City Man Arrested on Defiant Trespass Charge

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City man was arrested on Tuesday morning for defiant trespass.

The Oil City Police Department arrested 30-year-old Mason Confer, of Oil City, on February 28 around 7:25 a.m.

The incident stemmed from information received on February 27, 2017, concerning Confer residing at 312 Fern Drive. He had previously been given a Defiant Trespass Notice prohibiting him from being on or inside the property.

He was arraigned by District Judge Albert Fish and released on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled at 8:30 a.m., on Wednesday, March 8.
