LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas – Bob O’Hara, the Oil City man who transformed his life through a weight loss program, was recently recognized as International King Runner-up, at an event in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Earlier this year, O’Hara was crowned the “King of PA.”

About 1,600 members of the TOPS Club, Inc. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) celebrated their weight-loss successes at the organization’s 64th annual International Recognition Days July 14-15, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Bob was proud to be honored, but the comments he heard from other TOPS members was more meaningful to him.

“The most important thing was when the people came up to me and saying how much of an inspiration it was to them seeing my before and after photos,” O’Hara said.

Members who lost the most significant amounts of weight were honored as “royalty” among their states and provinces. Of those kings and queens, four were named TOPS’ International Royalty of 2016.

A parade of the “best losers” made their shining debut across the grand Governor’s Hall stage.

The fun continued on July 15, with the unveiling of State and Provincial Royalty (Arkansas’s winners hail from Fairfield Bay and Fayetteville, with a combined loss of 154.75 pounds) and the crowning of International Royalty.
