OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City man faces multiple drug charges following an investigation by the Oil City Police Department.

According to online court documents, on January 17, the Oil City Police Department filed criminal charges against 33-year-old Timothy Michael Stahlman, Jr., of Oil City.

Stahlman’s arrest stems from an overdose on December 28 at his residence located at 465 Colbert Avenue in Oil City.

According to a criminal complaint, the OCPD and the Oil City Fire Department were called to the above described residence on December 28 for a female with unknown issues. It was later determined that the known female had overdosed on Heroin that was packaged in “stamp bags” with blue ink labeled “monster high.”

The complaint states that through further investigation on January 2 by Patrolman Ruditis and Chief Wenner, of OCPD, Stahlman stated that he was unsure where the known female obtained the Heroin, but he believed that she obtained it from a black male. His name and address were unknown.

A joint investigation with the Franklin Police Department uncovered that Stahlman and a co-conspirator – Anton Roberson – were bringing in large amounts of Heroin in the Venango County area, and the Heroin was then being distributed to other persons to sell or use, according to the complaint.

On January 16, Roberson allegedly told police that on at least three separate occasion, he and Stahlman traveled to the City of Pittsburgh to obtain Heroin.

Roberson also allegedly stated on one occasion, Stahlman obtained three bricks of Heroin or 150 stamp bags, the complaint continues.

According to Patrolman Ruditis, “the investigation into the other individuals involved in the distribution of Heroin in the area is ongoing.”

A preliminary arraignment was held at 12:00 p.m. on January 17 in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish.

Stahlman was charged with the following offenses:

  • Conspiracy – Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver
  • Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
  • Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor
  • Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

Unable to post $25,000.00 monetary bail, Stahlman was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on January 25 in Venango County Central Court with Judge Fish presiding.
