Oil City Man Flips Vehicle in Emlenton Borough

EMLENTON BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City man lost control of his vehicle in Emlenton Borough and rolled it over on Friday morning.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 7:07 a.m. on Friday, March 1, Cy Gaines-Colon, of Oil City, was traveling south on Kerr Avenue toward State Route 38, lost control of his 2007 
Dodge Grand Caravan, and ran over the curb. The vehicle continued traveling downhill and struck an embankment on the east side of the roadway and then flipped over onto its driver’s side.

Gaines-Colon and his passenger – 18-year-old Remington L. Slater, of Seneca – were using seat belts and were not injured.

Gaines-Colon was charged with a traffic violation at District Magistrate Lowry’s office in Seneca.

Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
