Oil City Man Found Not Guilty of Drug Charges, Related Cases Pending

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — One man was recently found not guilty on drug charges in relation to a search warrant that was executed at an Oil City residence earlier this year, while cases against three others involved are still pending.

Court documents indicate 29-year-old Cody Levi McClelland, of Oil City, was acquitted of the following charges on Thursday, May 16:

  • Intentional Possession of Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor (two counts)
  • Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

McClelland was represented by Franklin-based Attorney Eric A. Padin.

The charges stemmed from a search warrant executed at an East Seventh Street residence.

Police said Ryan Lee Sharp, Cody Levi McClelland, Stephanie Goodman, and Zackary Collingwood-Brock were involved in the sale and distribution of controlled substances.

Controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were found during the search, according to police.

Additionally, two minor children were present inside the residence when the search warrant was executed.

According to court documents, 25-year-old Ryan Lee Sharp, of Oil City, pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of Intentional Possession of Controlled Substance on February 28. He is scheduled to stand for sentencing on Monday, June 17.

Court documents indicate 29-year-old Zachary Dale Brock-Collingwood, of Oil City, pleaded guilty to the following charges on Thursday, May 9:

  • Intentional Possession of Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor
  • Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

He is also scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, June 17.

23-year-old Stephanie Goodman, of Seneca, entered a plea of not guilty on Thursday, May 9, according to court documents. Her case continues to work its way through the court system.
