Oil City Man Found Passed Out, Snoring on Street; Faces Drug Charges

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City man is facing charges of public intoxication, drug possession, and public intoxication, after he was found lying on an Oil City street early yesterday morning, police said.

Oil City Police said the incident occurred when they responded to a report of a man lying on the road near the intersection of Clarion Street and Cooper Avenue yesterday around 12:05 a.m.

Police said upon arrival they found 29-year-old Gregory Jones lying face down, passed out, and snoring on Clarion Street.

Jones was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested for public intoxication.

Upon searching Jones, police found a small amount of marijuana and some drug paraphernalia in his possession.

Charges are pending.
