| October 30, 2017

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Road conditions caused a one-car crash on Sunday evening in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 22-year-old Cory S. Prindle, of Oil City, was driving a 1996 Honda Civic north on Allegheny Avenue when he lost control on the wet roadway.

The Civic began to slide, and Prindle tried to correct it by applying the emergency brake. This caused the vehicle to spin, and then it hit a telephone pole, police say.

Prindle was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.

Seneca Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
