Oil City Man Suspected of DUI Following Crash in Cranberry Township

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT)  – An Oil City man involved in a crash around 7:10 p.m. on April 14 along Big Egypt Road in Cranberry Township was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Franklin-based State Police say Thomas Jay Smith, of Oil City, was operating a 2008 Pontiac G6 and crashed into a ditch on the east side of Big Egypt Road.

Charges for DUI, restriction on alcoholic beverage, and other traffic violations are pending.
