OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Oil City Police are investigating an online scam.

On September 2, Oil City Police received a complaint from a known male stating he was the victim of an online scam.

The man told police he was contacted on Facebook by a woman.

The victim was convinced to perform a sexual act on Skype. The female then demanded 3000.00 pounds from the
victim and if he failed to provide the money, the video would be sent to family and friends.

The case remains under investigation.
