OIL CITY, Pa. – Oil City Middle and Senior High Schools will hold new student orientations and open house sessions on Thursday, August 25.

Orientation for freshmen and new students will take place in the high school auditorium at 5:00 p.m. on August 25. An Open House will follow at 5:30 p.m.

Middle school orientation will be held in the high school auditorium at 6:30 p.m. on August 25. This session is open to students entering fifth and sixth grades as well as any seventh or eighth grade students who are new to the district. An Open House will follow at 7 p.m. for all interested students and parents.

Counselors will be available for scheduling new students from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 25 and Friday, August 26. For new students to be scheduled, they must have already completed and returned their enrollment packet to the district’s administration building, located at 825 Grandview Road.

Oil City students return to school on Tuesday, August 30.
