Oil City Police Calls: Runaway Juvenile, Public Intoxication, Drug Possession

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – The Oil City Police Department responded to the following calls:

Runaway Juvenile, Centre Terrace

Oil City Police received a report of a runaway female juvenile around 9:12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27. The juvenile left the residence while her mother was sleeping.

Police believe the juvenile went to Niles, Ohio with her boyfriend. Oil City Police contacted the Niles Police Department for assistance in locating the juvenile.

The investigation is ongoing.

Public Intoxication/Drug Possession, Elm Street/Veteran’s Bridge

Around 2:16 a.m. on Sunday, November 25, the Oil City Police Department arrested Traci DeArment for public intoxication.

After transporting DeArment back to the Oil City Police Department, officers were conducting an inventory search of DeArment’s belongings and located a controlled substance contained in a Jet-Alter bottle.
