OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — The Oil City Police Department responded to the following calls:

Online Harassment

The Oil City Police Department was contacted on September 13 to investigate harassment between two juvenile males.

According to one party, this has been ongoing for about a year.

Oil City Police are still investigating.

Animal Complaints

The Oil City Police Department was dispatched on September 13 to the Family Dollar on Grandview Road for a report of a dog locked inside a vehicle.

Upon investigation, the owner was in the store shortly and did have all the windows on the vehicle cracked for the dog to get air.

The owner was advised of the dangers this could have on the animal no matter the length of time, and she was released on a warning.

Suspicious Activity

The Oil City Police Department was dispatched to West First Street around 8:55 p.m. on September 13 for a suspicious person.

According to the complainant, an unknown male sat down on the steps in front of her house.

Police say, “an unknown female in a vehicle parked in front of the male, spoke for about fifteen seconds, and walked away in different directions.”

The vehicle was said to have driven past the residence twice after the parties split.

Oil City Police are still looking into the incident.
