Oil City Police File Drug Charges After Towing Company Finds Marijuana in Vehicle

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — The Oil City Police Department was contacted by a local towing company owner who reported that marijuana was inside a vehicle that the business had towed.

Oil City Police subsequently obtained a search warrant for the vehicle which was granted around 2:32 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19.

Police located approximately one half to an ounce of a green leafy substance found to be marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Through the investigation, it was learned that the operator of the vehicle was 25-year-old Brandon Sillivan, of North Carolina.

The following charges were filed against Sillivan:

– Possession or distribution of a small amount of marijuana (one count)
– Possession of drug paraphernalia (three counts)
