OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Police in Oil City are searching for a woman who was involved in a hit-and-run accident Thursday morning in the city.

Oil City Police Chief Robert Wenner says the accident happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Sycamore Street and Elm Street.

A white female operating a Jeep struck another vehicle and fled the scene, according to Wenner.

The vehicle — white in color — is likely to have damage to the driver’s side front corner.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oil City Police Department at 814-678-3080.

“We would also ask if you are the operator of the white Jeep to please come forward and provide your vehicle and insurance information,” said Wenner.
