Oil City Police Seeking Information on Burglaries

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – The Oil City Police Department is investigating a series of burglaries that occurred earlier this month on Allegheny Avenue.

Through field interviews conducted with victims and witnesses, Oil City Police Officers learned that sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., an unknown person(s) entered several residences in the 300 Block of Allegheny Avenue.

One victim reported that several hundred dollars in personal property had been stolen.

Other residents in the area noticed that their homes were entered, but reported nothing missing.
