OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — The Oil City Police Department is seeking information on a hit and run accident that occurred early this morning on Cowell Avenue, in Oil City.

According to police, an unidentified vehicle struck a parked vehicle sometime between 12:00 a.m and 7:00 a.m in the 500 block of Cowell Avenue.

Police say the hit and run is believed to be between a vehicle (2001 to 2006) and a GM vehicle.

The suspect vehicle should have substantial front end damage, according to police.
