Oil City Woman Allegedly Threatens Venango Co. Deputy ‘I Will Find You and Kill You in Your Sleep’

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City woman is accused of making terroristic threats to a Venango County deputy when he was transporting her to the Venango County Jail.

According to court documents, the Oil City Police Department filed charges against 36-year-old Kelly Jean Chrispen (Lincoln), of Oil City.

According to a criminal complaint around 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, Deputy Williams, of the Venango County Sheriff’s office was at the Oil City Police Department taking custody of Kelly Chrispen, according to a criminal complaint.

While attempting to remove Chrispen from the Oil City Police Department and transport her to the Venango County Jail, Chrispen became aggressive toward Deputy Williams, the complaint states.

According to the complaint, Chrispen threatened Deputy Williams, “I will find you and kill you in your sleep.”

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on January 23 in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish on a first-degree misdemeanor charge of Terroristic Threats W/Intent To Terrorize Another.
