CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City woman and an infant were rushed to the hospital following a one-vehicle rollover crash yesterday on State Route 157 in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police say the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. on State Route 157 just south of State Route 62.

Jessica Luce, 36, of Oil City, lost control of her vehicle while attempting to negotiate a left turn on the slush-covered roadway.

Luce’s 2004 Honda Accord traveled across the southbound lane and struck an embankment before rolling onto its roof.

The vehicle came to a rest on the roadway.

Luce suffered minor injuries and was transported to UPMC Northwest for treatment.

A 14-month-old female passenger appeared to be uninjured but was also transported to UPMC as a precaution.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene by Minich’s Towing.

Community Ambulance and Seneca Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
