Oil City Woman Involved in Two-Vehicle Collision on Route 208

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – State police have released the details of a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday on Route 208, Elk Township, Clarion County.

According to Clarion-based State Police, 24-year-old Alexis R. Armstrong, of Oil City, and 51-year-old Randy M. Boggess, of Marble, were involved in the collision.

Police say around 10:22 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, Armstrong was traveling west on State Route 208 in a 2017 Nissan Rouge and failed to notice Boggess stopped on the roadway to turn onto Odgen Road in a 2015 Chevrolet 2500 LTZ.

The Nissan hit the rear of the Chevrolet’s trailer.

Both vehicles came to a final rest in the westbound lane of travel facing east.

Armstrong was charged with a traffic violation.

The drivers were evaluated by Knox EMS, and no injuries were reported.
