Oil City YMCA Announces Jr. NBA Basketball Program for Youth

OIL CITY, Pa. — The Jr. NBA, a national youth basketball program designed to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship and a love of the game of basketball, is coming to the Oil City YMCA.

The YMCA and the Jr. NBA are empowering the basketball community and impacting youth through the sport of basketball this fall.  The Jr. NBA is program for youth in kindergarten through fifth grade focused on improving individual and team skills and building on fundamentals. Three age levels will be offered on Saturdays, beginning November 10.

– Kindergarten (ages 5 & 6): 9:30 — 10:30 am
– 1st and 2nd Grade: 10:45 am — 11:45 am
– 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade: 12:00 pm — 1:00 pm

The program will be instructed by YMCA Youth Director Max Krepps and will be held in the Oil City YMCA Gymnasium. 

Jr. NBA is $25.00 for members and $40.00 for non-members.

YMCA Hours

The Oil City YMCA hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m, and Sundays 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (through the end of March).
